We Support, You Survive

The purpose of this program is to provide post-mastectomy garments to underserved women affected by breast cancer in the San Francisco Bay Area, focusing initially in Alameda County.

The use of appropriate undergarments for a woman treated for breast cancer is an important issue. However for many women the cost is prohibitive. There are women who cannot afford health insurance and therefore do not have access to these products.

Lymphedema Project

In 2010 we are starting a new program to assist the breast cancer survivors in a new aspect by providing the Lymphedema garments for prevention and treatment of this condition.

Most insurance companies do not cover these garments and their cost can become difficult to budget for some survivors. Our goal is to provide these garments at a very reasonable price to the general public and apply for grants that will allow us to provide them at NO COST to the underserved and low-income women.

Hair with Care

The hair loss as a consequence of chemotherapy is a devastating effect that a woman has to face. At our Foundation we understand this issue and address it with the expertise of a wonderful  wig specialist that can assist our clients with a variety of different wigs. We would like to serve in this program not only breast cancer survivors but any woman going through chemotherapy and loss of her hair. We believe in a complete support to the survivor to help her overcome the treatments with beauty and dignity.
