What is a House Concert?

Wayne and Sue Brask started house concerts in Fremont. They followed local musicians who seemed to be making an impact in their field. As much as they enjoyed the music, they were unhappy with the setting, as many were playing in pubs or coffee houses and noise was common. At first, they invited groups to play in their family room for friends, who helped offset the cost. Everyone enjoyed the feeling of getting together with good friends to enjoy good music, and the tradition of the House Concert was born! Now, the program is growing as others hold house concerts to combine the fun of the events, with the good works of fundraising.

See www.braskhouseconcerts.com for more information about Wayne and Sue Brask's house concerts.
