Elizabeth Barron – Chairperson (August 2008 - present) / Recording Secretary of the HERS Breast Cancer Foundation Board (June 2007 – August 2008) / Board Member at large (June 2007 – present)

  • 21-year career with Pacific Bell as supervisor, trainer and coach of 30 employees upgrading and implementing the mechanization of all outside plant records
  • Central Office Engineer for Pacific Bell who designed and coordinated installations of electronic relay equipment for the “Pacific Rim”
  • Served as Office Manager for Family Services of the Tri-Cities, a Non Profit Counseling Agency in Fremont (2001 –2003)

Christina Paez– Recording Secretary (June 2009 – present)  

  • New Mexico native who moved to the Bay Area in August 2007
  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Master's degree in Public Health-Epidemiology
  • Has worked in the health field for over 10 years
  • Currently works as a Development Specialist at Ravenswood Family Health Center which is located in East Palo Alto, CA
  • Worked in collaboration with the New Mexico Cancer Council and New Mexico's Comprehensive Cancer Program to develop the 2007-2011 Cancer Plan
  • Worked as an Exercise Technician & Personal Trainer primarily with people suffering and/or recovering from chronic conditions and disabilities such as: Parkinson's Disease, Cardiovascular Disease, Pulmonary Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, and Cancer

  • Active in Portuguese Fraternal Organizations all over California

  • Certified Wellness Coach and Coordinator and Nutrition Consultant
  • Past experience in Corporate Management in Operational, Materials and Procurement for over 25 years
  • Past experience as an educator and counselor in the field of Autism / Aspergers, as well as severely disabled children in Fremont Unified School District
  • Married to Mike Bove’ who is currently a Professional Engineer / Manager
  • Mother of one adult daughter
  • Active in a variety of physical fitness activities, both indoor and outdoor, world travel enthusiast, painter, master gardener and loves to entertain at her home in Livermore

Kinzi Richholt – Board Member at large (October 2009- Present)

  • Chief of the Division of System Operations and Management Support Services at Washington Hospital in Fremont, California, where she has direct oversight responsibilities for Perioperative and Cardiovascular Services, Pharmacy, Food Services and Materials Management.
  • Formerly with St. Rose Hospital in Hayward, California, as Vice President of Patient Services for 11 years, and then served as Senior Vice President.
  • Bachelor's Degree from Holy Names College in Oakland, California; Master's Degree in the Science of Nursing from the University of California, San Francisco. 
  • Received several awards including the Spirit Award for communication achievement in the “Family Birthing Center” marketing program, California Council for Quality & Service Prospector Award (1999); Medical staff leadership award (2004); and the Excellence in Leadership and Commitment to Quality Award (2004). 
  • Her article, A Case Study in Partners In Practice, was published in The Power of Health Teams: Strategies for Success, 1996 Phillips, K.M. (pp.132-140) Oakbrook Terrace. LL: JCAHO.

  • Bachelor of Science in accounting from Santa Clara University Previously served as an auditor at an international public accounting firm
  • Former NCAA collegiate rower
  • Ran a full marathon to raise over $2,500 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
  • Passionate runner, traveler, reader of books and avid cook
