The HERS Breast Cancer Foundation, a 501(c)(3) a non-profit organization, provides programs and services supporting the needs of women and families affected by breast cancer in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Bras for Body & Soul is a specialty bra shop and extended services for all women, including women who have had breast surgery, in order to make a positive difference in women's lives.

Sue Bove’ – Chairwoman of the HERS Breast Cancer Foundation Board (2007 to present) / Board Member at large (2004 – present)

  • Breast Cancer Survivor
  • Corporate work for 25 years – Purchasing, material management, senior operational management with staffs from 25 – 200
  • Fremont Schools – Educator in the field of Autism / Counseled parents
  • Business Development, educating and conflict resolution
  • Current – Senior management level of home-based nutritional / health company
  • Married to Mike Bove, a member of HERS Finance Committee, and mother of Danielle, a college student

 

Michelle Stewardson – Vice Chairwoman of the HERS Breast Cancer Foundation Board (2006 – present) / Served as Treasurer and recently as Board Vice Chairwoman

  • 20 years experience in the accounting field with the last 13 years serving as Financial Controller of a large construction firm
  • Worked as an independent accounting software consultant
  • Co-owned and operated an online retail store with spouse for 5 years
  • Developed business relationships with various union labor organizations
  • Current member of BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association)
  • Girl and Boy Scouts leader for 10 years with over 200 hours of leadership training with emphasis on maintaining the vital resources of the earth
  • YMCA & Skagit Youth Soccer Association coach for 3 years
  • Married mother of two children

 

Patricia Hoffman – Treasurer and Finance of the HERS Breast Cancer Foundation Board (August 2007 – present) / Board Member at large (January 2007 – present)

  • Breast Cancer Survivor
  • A native of Pennsylvania who has been a resident of Fremont since 1982
  • Manager, Commercial Loan Underwriting Fremont Bank
  • Board of Director for LIFE ElderCare Inc. for 8 years
  • Long time member of Mission San Jose Rotary Club
  • Over 30 years prior commercial banking experience with Crocker Bank, Wells Fargo Bank, Union Bank, and Heritage Bank as Vice President and Manager
  • Married for 30 years and step-mother to two sons and three grandchildren

 

Elizabeth Barron – Recording Secretary of the HERS Breast Cancer Foundation Board (June 2007 – present) / Board Member at large (June 2007 – present)

  • 21 year career with Pacific Bell as supervisor, trainer and coach of 30 employees upgrading and implementing the mechanization of all outside plant records
  • Central Office Engineer for Pacific Bell who designed and coordinated installations of electronic relay equipment for the “Pacific Rim”
  • Served as Office Manager for Family Services of the Tri-Cities, a Non Profit Counseling Agency in Fremont
  • Served as President of the Italian Social Group at Holy Spirit Church in Fremont
  • Long standing member of American Business Women’s Association having served as President, Vice President, and Recording and Corresponding Secretary
  • Proud mother of three children and grandmother to five grandchildren

 

Annette M. Fagundes – Board Member at large (June 2007 – present)

  • Life long resident of Centerville District of Fremont
  • Washington Hospital from 1972-1981 / Business Office
  • Owner of Gabriella Ronegas Designs Inc. – Specializing in Commercial and Residential Interiors since 1977
  • Board member of the Golden Gate Boys Choir from 1989-1994
  • Married to Edmundo for 35 years – Retired Delta Air Lines employee
  • Mother of two adult children – Angela, an Elementary school teacher in the Fremont Area since 2007, and Dominic, a Fremont Firefighter since 2007 – and grandmother to two grandchildren, Xavier and Anouk
